Question

1 click copy not working in chrome browser

Hi, for my other computers, when I left click on the password in the chrome extension, it copies automatically. For some reason, when I left click on password, a menu pops up that says copy, reveal, or show in large type. I'm sure this is a setting, but I can't figure it out.

Hello, @msoileau. Thank you for writing in. Does your device have a touchscreen in tablet mode?

Thank you for your reply. We're tracking an issue where the context menu would appear on touchscreen devices instead of the "1-click-copy" function for 1Password in the browser. I've added you as an affected user to our internal reporting. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Let me know if you have any questions.

for others benefit, I was able to correct the issue w/ disabling the touch screen on my windows 11 PC by disabling the touch screen in device manager. There is no button anymore to disable this in windows 11. At first it didn't work but when pc was restarted, I know had 1 click access to copy the password in the google chrome extension.

Thank you for sharing! I'm glad to hear that disabling the touchscreen in Device Manager improved the behaviour. 🙂
