1P for Safari not working? macOS 15.1 Beta 5

I'm not sure when this happened, but the 1Password extension for Safari seems to have stopped working. As a result, I can't use passkeys to login at all. Is this a known issue? And if so, if there a fix planned?

1Password Version: 1Password for Mac 8.10.46 (81046026)
Extension Version: 8.10.46
OS Version: 15.1 Beta 5 (24B5055e)
Browser: Safari

Hello @zeror! 👋

Thanks for testing 1Password in the macOS beta! Usually, if you're using the beta version of macOS, I recommend that you also use the beta version of 1Password since that version will contain the latest fixes and changes.

Are you able to install the beta version of 1Password for Safari and let me know if you still see the issue in that version: Use 1Password beta releases

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi @1P_Dave, I'm using the beta of both 1Password and 1Password for Safari on the latest 15.1 beta and passkeys are not working for me, getting the same issue as above. Any ideas?

After going in circles for a while I discovered that Autofill settings had been turned off in the 1Password for Safari Extension settings (right click 1P icon in Safari and click Settings). Now seems to be OK. Not sure how that happened!

@tedsvo

I'm happy that you were able to resolve the passkey issue with 1Password for Safari on your Mac. 🙂
