1P keeps popping up little windows

Update: 1P popped up a "trying to unlock" message and it wasn’t even running. I didn’t confirm with my watch, but after about 10 seconds, it started itself and presented the "enter your password" menu.

I came looking to see if there was an old post about this. I was seeing something similar when I tried to unlock with my Watch, the prompt flashed momentarily but not enough for me to unlock. After several tries it just asks for the password. It was working ok a few days ago, so I just rebooted and voilá, it's working now.

Digital gremlins...

I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with Apple Watch unlock for 1Password. If the issue occurs again can you please try the following test so that we can narrow down what may be happening:

1. Click on the  in the menu bar.
2. Click System Settings.
3. Click Privacy & Security.
4. Click Advanced.
5. As a temporary troubleshooting step, turn on "Log out automatically after inactivity".
6. You'll now see a macOS system prompt asking you to confirm the action. You should receive a double-tap notification on your Apple Watch.

Are you able to use the Apple Watch to authenticate the macOS system prompt? Once this test is complete you can turn off "Log out automatically after inactivity" if you wish.
