Question

1Pass icon in Safari toolbar always appears unlocked

Whenever I open Safari on my Mac, the 1Password icon appears to be unlocked although it is not. When I click on it, it still asks me to open it with touch ID. Only when I lock 1Password does the lock appear in the toolbar icon in Safari. When I close Safari and later reopen it, the same thing reoccurs. The icon is in the toolbar without the lock symbol. Is this normal, or is there a setting that I need to change?

Hello @jazzman! 👋

I'm sorry that the lock isn't appearing in 1Password for Safari's toolbar icon, I've reproduced the issue on my end and I've filed a bug report with the team so that this can be investigated further. While I can't say when the issue will be resolved, it'll be noted in our release notes when it is:

Thank you for reporting the issue.

Hello @1P_Dave,

Thank you so much, Dave, for answering my question. I was just hoping this wasn't a potential security issue. Anyway, I'm sure you and the team will solve it. Thanks much.
