1Password 7 closes immediately upon launch on iOS Beta 4

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 27 beta 4. When I try to open 1Password 7, the app closes immediately without any error message. Consequently, I am unable to access all my passwords and secure notes.

I’m sorry that you’re unable to open 1Password 7 on iOS 27 Beta 4. Since 1Password 7 hasn’t been updated in over three years, it’s no longer actively developed, tested, or supported. Our efforts are now focused on 1Password 8, which is actively being developed and tested for iOS 27.

Please don’t uninstall 1Password 7, as the app may contain the only copy of your data. Email support@1password.com with a link to this thread, and our support team can review the situation and help you safely move to the latest version of 1Password.

After emailing us, you’ll receive an automated reply containing a Support ID. Post that ID here and I’ll locate your message and make sure it reaches the right team.

Hello, I am having the same problem with 1Password 7 on iPhone 17 pro and iPad Pro-third gen. after installing iOS 27 on both. It logs in and gives an error that I have been able to capture so far and closes within a second. I have been using icloud for the vault in both. I also got 1password now but it is impossible to migrate it to the new app without having access to 1Password 7.

Already sent a help request, my ticket reference number is 786322.

I can confirm that we’ve received your ticket, and one of my colleagues will take a look and send you a reply via email as soon as possible. I would recommend keeping communication to email moving forwards to avoid any crossed wires or duplication of efforts.

Same here. 1Password 7 on my iPhone crashes within a second of launching, right after updating to iOS 27. I'm on a standalone local vault, no membership, so I can't reach my data anywhere else.

I've written to support and I'm waiting for a reply. If anyone has found a working solution, or has successfully migrated to 1Password 8 without being able to open version 7, please post it here.
