1Password 8.12.40 beta Apple Watch app crashes on launch

I just upgraded the 1Password TestFlight app from 8.12.38 to 8.12.40. After the app updated on my Apple Watch, the watch app crashes on launch.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app on the watch and rebooting the watch, but the issue persists with this build. I downgraded the app to 8.12.38 and the watch app works again.

The watch is an Apple Watch S12 running watchOS 27.0.

Hello! 

I'm sorry that 1Password is crashing on your Apple Watch when running 8.12.40 (beta). We've reproduced the same issue internally on our end and a bug report has been filed with our development team. 
 
Thank you for helping us test the beta version of 1Password! For the time being, the best workaround is to revert to the production version of 1Password (8.12.36): Stop using a prerelease version of the app or browser extension
