1Password 8 -- I don't see: Require Master Password every 2 weeks in the settings --- I would like to turn it off because my master password is so complicated I have to keep it hidden somewhere and have to dig it out to copy/paste it every two weeks.

Not sure whether this is available for computers without Touch ID, but otherwise on my MacBook Pro 16-inch, 2019, I have 1Password menu > Settings > Security > Touch ID > Require password > Every 2 weeks/Every 30 days/Never.

Just curious though why you don't use a less-complicated, "memorable password" created in the Password Generator?

Hello @jonhall! 👋

Thank you for the question. I think that @DavidB really hit the nail on the head in their reply: choosing an easier to remember account password is going to be the best option. You can find out how to choose a memorable, but still secure password, by using our guide: How to choose a good 1Password account password

Alternatively, you can reduce the number of times that you're asked for your account password by changing your auto-lock settings: How to set 1Password to lock automatically

And, if you have the option, Touch ID or Apple Watch unlock provide a great way to unlock 1Password without always having to enter your account password each time:

I hope that helps! 🙂
