1Password 8: Sorting by numbers and symbols

1Password 8 sorts items titled with numbers and symbols first by default. Previous versions of the app included an option to "Show numbers and symbols first" when sorting (app 1Password > Preferences > Advanced), which was off by default--as I remember, at least.

I request that this option is added to 1Password 8.

Thank you.

Hello @mgl03! 👋

At the moment there isn't an option to have items with symbols/numbers be sorted at the bottom of the list when viewing a list alphabetically. While I can't make any promises, I have added your feature request to our internal tracker so our developers can consider it as they are looking into new features to add to future versions of 1Password.

Thank you for the suggestion! 🙂

Sorting is one of the most basic functionality in a list. Specially with a lot of passwords items.
I do like to add that an option to hide the category titles, like "#", "A", "B", ..., would be a nice addition. Specially for 1Password 8. These category titles take up a lot of space. And me as a user, I know how I have sorted - I can see that when reading my list - and therefore I do not want to see those titles.
