1Password Android app unusable on ChromeOS
I used to use the Android 1Password app on ChromeOS via the Android subsystem and it worked fine. Recently it was having some issues (starting it would just produce a black window), so I tried removing the app and then reinstalling. Unfortunately this is also having problems.
I go through the registration process ok (Sign In > Scan Setup Code > Enter your password > Sign in). Then I'm prompted to "Set up screen lock to use passkeys" with options to set it up or cancel. Unfortunately, the ChromeOS Android subsystem does not have screen lock (or any display settings at all) under Android settings.
If I hit "Cancel" I get a spinning circle and then the same screen lock prompt. If I hit "Set up screen lock" I get an error message "Unable to sign in" and a button to let me try entering my login details again. If I try that method, manually entering my account details, I get the same screen lock prompt, then an error "We weren't able to sign in to your account." and it urges me to check the details to try again.
I verified that all of the details are correct, so this definitely has to do with the screen lock that's not available.
The subsystem is running Android 13 w/ June 2024 update. Build R126-15886.44.0 release-keys.
ChromeOS 126.0.6478.132.
The currently installed 1Password app is 8.10.34.
