1Password Browser extension does not recognize standalone app

Recently I have noticed that 1Password Browser Extension does not work and has connection problems with its standalone app.

When unlock 1Password standalone app, it does not automatically unlock the browser extension. I tried to test both Edge and Brave but they have the same problem.

I tried following the instructions (https://support.1password.com/connect-1password-browser-app/#if-youre-using-a-windows-pc) but it does not work.

I'm sorry that 1Password in the browser isn't connecting to the desktop app on your Windows PC. If you'd tried the suggestions in the article that you linked to and things still aren't working then I'd like to ask you to create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from 1Password in your browser:

Send a diagnostics report (browser extension)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com
