1Password browser extension seems to be conflicting with Mattermost

Users of the Mattermost chat software have recently started seeing a JS error banner generated by Mattermost. It seems the common thread is people using Firefox and the 1Password extension. This only started happening recently. It seems this stems from the browser extension using the Performance API. For more info see:

It seems that Mattermost have worked around this at their end (GitHub issue is now closed).
