1Password cannot auto-fill passwords for Prusa printers web configuration

I'm sorry that 1Password isn't filling your login credentials on your printer's configuration page. Is the login field right on the page? Or does it appear as a basic authentication prompt like this:

If the login field is on the page itself, do you see the 1Password icon when you click on the username or password field appear at all?

Yep, that's right. Here's the one that I see whenever I restart my browser and try to login to a printer.

I've raised the issue with Prusa (as a feature request in their GitHub repo), and the response I received was discouraging: something about how built-in web browser password managers can autofill those fields, and that's apparently good enough for their needs. They don't seem to consider it a priority to support third-party password managers. So I'm hopeful that 1Password can somehow fill in the gap.

Thank you for the screenshot! Chrome doesn't allow password managers to show the inline filling menu in that kind of basic authentication prompt so you won't see a suggestion appear underneath the username/password field there as you would on a normal login page.

However, 1Password should still be able to fill your login with an extra step on your part. Try the following:

1. Manually save your credentials for the website in question in a Login item in 1Password. Enter your username, password, and the website address of the page in question into the Login item.
2. Navigate to the printer configuration page until you see the basic authentication login prompt.
3. Click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.
4. Click on the Login item for your printer and then click Autofill. You credentials should be filled into the basic authentication prompt.

@1P_Dave Thanks. Unfortunately, those steps don't work (I'd already tried them) - because I'm accessing the pages via my WLAN. The pages are served directly from the printers: https://192.168.0.122 and .123, assigned via static DHCP mappings based on MAC addresses. I had already tried manually creating a mapping for the .123 address, and just tried the same for the .122 address - no dice in either case.
