1Password doesn't start with Windows

Interestingly I now have the same issue. It seems to have started after the lastest update.
I use 1Password on 2 laptop and both have the same issue that 1Password doesn't start with windows.
So to use the browser extension I first need to manually start up 1Password. Only then it's in the taskbar tray and the browser extensions work.

How can this be solved?

Hello @Jeeveedeekee! 👋

I’m sorry that 1Password isn’t starting when you start your Windows PC. I’ve split your post into a new thread since the old thread hasn’t been active for a number of years.

Just to double-check, is the following option selected in the 1Password for Windows app:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password for Windows.
  2. Click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and click Settings.
  3. Make sure that “Open 1Password on startup” is selected.

If that’s already selected then you might be running into a known issue that our developer team is investigating, and that affects certain users but not others. So that the team can help further,

I'd like to ask you to create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from your Windows PC:

Send a diagnostics report (Windows)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com

With your email please include:

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number.  Please post that number here.  Thanks very much!

Hi,

Thanks.

I've added a screenshot of my settings page (although in Dutch), just to make sure.
The ‘open 1Password with startup’ is checked.

I'll send a diagnostics report.
