Make sure you 'https' to port 5001 - that should both do the trick and keep your passwords even locally safe :) i.e. https://192.168.178.123:5001

+1. This stopped working for me about a month ago, on macOS Safari, after working fine for years (with both a Synology NAS and Synology router). I've no idea what changed.

(I of course have the correct Synology 10.x.y.z addresses configured in the 1Password entries.)

@ings but is it the https and port number? That was what made it tick again for me some while back

@Tom you are correct about using https fixing the autofill problem.

I had been using http & http port number (not https) in the 1Password Synology entry (not best practise, but it's a private home network) probably to avoid Safari complaining that the https security certificate was signed by Synology and not a certificate authority. Then perhaps 1Password decided in a recent update that it was no longer going to do autofill id/pw in an unsecured connection?

Thanks for your reply!
