1Password for Chrome on work laptop I already handed over 🤦

I was using 1Password on my work computer, in Chrome (never installed the app in OS). I left the company and I just realized that I never uninstalled the extension… The company should wipe clean the computer and the extension obviously required a password, but out of abundance of (bleated) caution: is there a way for me to block the extension from accessing my data? I’m not asking about removing the extension or tinkering with the laptop since it’s not my property, I’m only asking about the access to my data.

If this is not possible to do, what would you recommend me to do - change the master password, somehow lock my online vault for a period of time, something else? The way I set up the extension originally was using the username, password and the secret key from my emergency kit.

Thank you!

Hi @mkultra 👋

Good question! This is the 1Password equivalent of leaving a hotel room still signed into your Netflix account.

While this isn’t exactly a lost or stolen device, the process in this article is still the way to go and will make sure you’re secure without it seeming like anything nefarious to your former employer.

Thank you @1P_SimonH , that was exactly what I was looking for. The last instruction on the page gave me the option to remove the extension.
