1Password for Mac 8.10.9 filling incorrect password

I'm sorry that you're seeing an incorrect password being filled. The issue that you linked to was resolved last year with the release of version 8.9.4 of 1Password for Mac.

As a first step, can you make sure that you've tried my colleague Jack's suggestion from the old thread:

To resolve this issue, look for this specific Login that's always being filled, edit it, and remove the Linked App for Google Chrome and Firefox.

If that doesn't work then can you tell me more about the issue that you're running into:

1. Are you filling into a website or app?
2. Is it always the same password that is filled the first time?

I had a linked item for the Brave browser in one of the login items ... I just removed it. I think this may have solved it as I went back to a login where I experienced this earlier this morning and it seems to be behaving correctly. Thanks!

Thanks Dave. Unfortunately, it's still happening. I'm having trouble tracking down which login item is being used to fill these logins by default. There doesn't seem to be a way to search/filter login items by the email/username stored, so, this may be a bit difficult to track down.

When the incorrect password is filled into a page can you then reveal the password on that page? Some websites give you the option to click an "eye" icon in the password field to see the password. You can then copy and paste that password into the 1Password for Mac app to find the login item.

Let me know if that doesn't work.
