1Password for Safari only works once or twice unless restarting Safari

I am currently running 1Password for Safari 8.10.70.27 and when i try and log into any website or online account 1Password only shows me my username/password one time and then stops working.  

Safari Version 18.4 (20621.1.15.11.10). Mac OS version Sequoia 15.4.1.

If i log out of an online account and then try and log into another account 1Password Extension doesn't auto populate the Username/Password fields.  If i click the 1Password Extension in the Safari Menu in the upper left hand corner it recognizes the webpage/account i'm trying to log into but when i click 'Autofill' nothing happens.

If i 'quit' Safari and relaunch it works again as expected but only one time. 

Anyone else seen this?

Hi @mjbcomputing 

This sounds like a known issue where 1Password's suggestion menu will stop working, and Autofill will stop filling. Our developers have identified an issue in Safari 18.4 that is involved with this behavior and we're working with our friends at Apple to get it resolved. 

For the time being, opening the website in a new tab should get things working again. If that doesn't work then restart Safari by completely closing it and then reopening it.

I'd like to add that the 1Password Extension works flawlessly in Firefox.  So this is a specific issue between Safari and 1Password Extension.

Yes. I have seen this and it's specific to Safari. I am running Safari 18.4 on Mac and have to constantly quit & restart Safari to get 1PW to work.

Opening a new Tab doesn't make any difference.  Hopefully the problem will be resolved soon by either a 1Password update or a Safari Update.

Is there an ETA to this resolution?

It's been happening for months and is getting quite annoying as I have lots of tabs open, some of which I have to ensure I finish my tasks before quitting to re-open.

I've been manually opening 1Password and copying and pasting, which is annoying, especially because 1Password has been opening behind all the application windows.

I'm running the latest version of Mac OS.
