1Password for Windows 8.10.54 (81054016) Nightly won't connect to browser extensions

I am having the same issue. (Oh never tried Stable or Beta channel... )

Contacted support and they said they had issues with it a couple of days ago and released an update to address it.

The stable release of the Browser Extension version for Firefox is still 8.10.48.25, the beta is 8.10.46.25 and on Chrome, stable version is 8.10.52.25 and beta version bumps all the way to 8.10.54.13. It's really interesting how every other major browser gets the update but not Firefox...

It seems to me they forgot to update Firefox extensions. Whether it's hosted on Mozilla Add-on or their own website, which is https://support.1password.com/betas/#appendix-install-a-beta-release-of-1password-for-firefox and https://c.1password.com/dist/1P/b5x/firefox/beta/latest.xpi

If you change the beta to nightly on the xpi link, you will get version 8.10.54.2

But you will still get a connection problem... I am completely at my wits' end.

Sadly you need to get addons signed by mozilla, and their team is really small. I'm led to believe this also covers BETA releases.

Thank you for reporting the issue with app integration in the nightly version of 1Password for Windows! Our development team is aware and is working on a fix which should hopefully be released soon in an update to the nightly version.

If you'd like, you can revert to the stable version of 1Password to restore app integration if you don't wish to wait for the fix: Use 1Password beta releases
