1Password Keeps Asking to Save Password on Site I Do Not Want to Save Password For

Hi I have a simple issue, in the Chrome extension 1Password keeps asking to save Password on a site I do not want to save the password for. I tried adding the login and changing login behavior to never fill on this website and also right-clicking on the web page and setting hide on this page to on in the 1password - password manager menu too with no luck. I do not want to put my most sensitive passwords in 1Password for security reasons and it’s really annoying getting the same prompt every time I log into one of these websites. Is there a way to accomplish this?

There’s a known issue where the Hide on this page feature won’t suppress the save prompt and our development team is currently investigating. Hopefully this will be resolved in a future update soon. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

For the time being, dismissing the prompt after you sign in is the best workaround. Alternatively, you could create a separate profile in Chrome where 1Password isn’t installed for those logins that you’d like to keep separate.

If you don’t want 1Password to offer to save your logins automatically, you can disable that behaviour in the browser extension’s settings using the following steps:

Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser’s toolbar and choose Settings.
Click on Autofill & save in the lefthand menu.
Toggle off the Offer to save logins option.

Thanks but I only want to disable the prompt for specific websites. It is essential to have it on for some and off for others.

Over here you guys had the same issue a year ago. It still hasn’t been fixed? Also I assume Hide on this page is exactly the feature I’m looking for correct? Thanks.

I second this functionality. I have 1password on my browser when I am doing stuff with my work. Their are corporate passwords that 1password is attempting to store in the application. I’ve wanted this functionality for years, to block a site from storing additional credentials for a site.

I use SSO to login to Site A; sometimes I need to login to a service account in Site A. 1password will attempt to save this service account password, even though I do not want to save it there. I have to close the 1password prompt many times due to how the web application refreshes.
