Hi Everyone,

The 1Password App on Mac OS X Sequoia 15.5 crashes once i fire it up, no matter from where, it shows a blank screen. I tried reinstalling it but after the installation completes it shows me this blank window:

Help me out please this really disrupts my workflow i'm currently using my phone to get passwords through the 1Password iOs App and type them in manually on my mac. I can't even check what 1Password version i'm using because when i click on about nothing happens, the entire app crashes and it makes my Mac slow down.

I think it has been this way since i updated my Mac to the latest Sequoia(15.5) but i'm not sure, before i had no problems at all.

Hi @1P_Dave ,

First of all thank you for your reply.

Second i allready fixed it, it seemed to be a memory issue, when i closed other apps it started working again.

Hello @will91! 👋

I'm sorry that you're having trouble opening 1Password. As a first step, try restarting your Mac. If that doesn't work then are you using a virtual machine like Parallels? Or are you running macOS right on your Mac?

Can you try the following:

  1. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your menu bar at the top of the screen and then click Quit.
  2. Open the Terminal app.
  3. Type in: /Applications/1Password.app/Contents/MacOS/1Password --disable-gpu

Press Enter. Does 1Password open successfully? Or does the same issue occur?
