1Password no longer recognises the Apple School Manager login page

Question

When I try to log into the Apple School Manager page in Safari at https://school.apple.com, 1Password does not show the little unlock icon in the username box, does not come up with a list of potential usernames from my vault, and will not autofill the username even if I open up the 1Password app and select the correct credentials directly. I have to copy and paste or type the username in myself.

Once the username is entered, things behave correctly; the password field can be populated from 1Password as expected.

My guess is that, in the transition from 'Apple ID' to 'Apple Account', Apple have changed the tag associated with the username box and 1Password isn't recognising it.

Hello, @NomadUK. Thank you for writing in and for reporting this. I've tested the website and have been able to recreate the problem. I filed an issue for our development team and added you as an affected user for further investigation.

In the meantime, I'd suggest copying/pasting the username from 1Password or using the https://support.1password.com/getting-started-browser/#use-drag-and-drop-to-fill-in-apps feature from the 1Password extension pop-over. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
