1Password not working on Google Pixel

I had some trouble (rare for 1password!) on my Google Pixel so decided to quickly uninstall/reinstall. But, when trying to login, I received just the lonely logo. Dead. Fingerprint didn't work. Can someone give me the correct routine to get back on my feet?
All my other devices work fine with 1password.
