Just sadly did a security review and now 1Password on a headless Mac mini just auto locks after 10 second whatever I attempt todo to change the settings ?

How can I get out of this mode ?

Tried changing to locking after 480 minutes of inactivity but just ignore that  !

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Hi @berksgr,

You can see how to adjust 1Password's auto-lock settings in the article below:

Manage your unlock and auto-lock settings in 1Password

It's important to note that the settings will only apply to the specific place you set them. For instance, if you set the auto-lock for 1Password.com to a certain amount of minutes, that will be separate from the settings you've chosen in the desktop app. Note though that if you have the integration between the extension and desktop app enabled (found in the General section of the extension's settings), the extension will lock and unlock along with the desktop app.

If you're finding that this isn't working as you'd expect, could you clarify where you set the 480 minute timer and where you're finding that 1Password is locking after 10 seconds?

I know how to change the settings.

There is something wrong again with 1Password and it keeps on locking up.

I have no time to attempt to see what the settings are etc

Ok so found some of the problem

If I set 'Lock after the device is idle' to Never then it's fine and I can use 1Password and it doesn't auto lock.

If I set 'Lock after the device is idle' to 8 Hours then 1Password locks itself after 10 seconds.

Perhaps something todo with me remoting in via Jump Desktop ?
