1Password Requiring Password

Question

I just opened 1P this morning after restarting my computer. The message said that I needed to enter my password every two weeks. Since I use my MacBook Pro in clamshell mode, I enter my password all the time including yesterday.

The messaging is confusing: Is it requiring my password because I restarted? If it's because it's been two weeks, then shouldn't it be resetting that timeline every time I enter my password?

Hi @rpallred, thanks for bringing this up today. Some of us on the customer service team here have dug into this a bit, and our first impression is that this might be a bug - we'll try to reproduce to see what the specifics are.

My understanding is that you're correct; entering in your password should reset that 2 week timer, clamshell mode or no.

We'll look into how this can be improved. Thank you for letting us know that this happened!
