1Password website does not load when updating entry

On Firefox, whenever I want to update a login, the add-on opens my.1password.com, and the website never loads. It just stays blank.

Screenshot:

Screenshot of a Firefox tab showing the my.1password.com website as blank with a lot of errors in the console.

There are a lot of CSP errors, but if I navigate directly to my.1password.com, the web app successfully loads even with those CSP errors.

The one error I do not also see when I navigate directly to the URL is this error:

Source map error: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data Resource URL: https://my.1password.com/%3Canonymous%20code%3E Source Map URL: installHook.js.map

I suspect that error is the cause.

One workflow note about my usage in Firefox - I use containers. Most people use these for privacy, but I use them for security. The side-effect is that navigating to 1password.com will close and re-open the tab in a different container.

I suspect this is causing the 1Password code to not work. 1Password is the only website that seems to have an issue with containers.

I'm anticipating the response, "Just don't use containers", but containers are a core privacy + security feature of Firefox. Ideally, a security-focused tool like 1Password would not require Firefox users to use turn off their privacy + security settings.

Browser extension version: `8.11.8.40`

Worked with 1Password support to do some deeper debugging, and it turns out the cause was not containers, but another extension, LocalCDN. (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/localcdn-fork-of-decentraleyes/)

Hi @chris__hayes,

Thanks for reporting this! To save you the trouble of having to redact as much information and so we can investigate more thoroughly, can you email support@1password.com with a link to this thread?
