1Password Windows App Won't Open

I've been using 1Password for years and I'm quite happy with it.  Recently though, I've run into an issue multiple times where I can't get the 1Password for Windows app to open.  The browser extension is there and works, and the system tray icon is there, but if I try to open the app from the Start menu, or by clicking on the system tray icon, or by right-clicking on the system tray icon and clicking on "Open 1Password", nothing happens.

It seems that some time later (unknown how long, but minutes for sure) if I come back to my PC, I'll see a prompt to enter my pin, at which point the Windows app opens. Knowing that, the last few times this happened, I minimized all my apps in case that dialog was hiding behind something else, but I didn't find anything.  This is definitely frustrating behavior.
