1password with high number of threads

Would anyone know why 1Password works with such a high number of threads?

Not even Docker running 3 containers with several processes managed to surpass 1Password.

1Password Version: 8.10.32
Extension Version: 2.23.3
OS Version: MacOS 14.4.1
Browser: safari

Hello @fabiojanio! 👋

Thanks for reaching out. Can you clarify the question a little further? 1Password uses several different processes for different purposes that include running the 1Password desktop app, 1Password in the browser, integration between the desktop app and the browser extension, and background processes for features like Quick Access.

Are you able to post a screenshot to what you're referring to?

And can you tell me if you're seeing any performance issues on your Mac or running into any trouble with the app?

In fact, I just found the high number of threads strange.

@fabiojanio

Thanks for the reply. That looks normal to me, on my Mac I see 82 threads being used. It's expected that 1Password will run multiple threads.

If you do run into any performance issues, or notice that 1Password is using an excessive amount of CPU then let me know and I can help further.
