1PW for Safari on MacOS no longer works

I'm not sure what happened, but 1Password used to work pretty seamlessly on Safari on MacOS (Tahoe 26.2). I have the latest 1PW browser extension installed. Lately, it has become all but useless. It still behaves well on Chrome, but Safari (my default browser) has become a world of pain. I couldn't even sign up for this community on Safari having 1PW suggest and remember a password, and had to switch to Chrome.

I don't even know where to begin to fix this. I've been using 1PW for years without any issue.

When I click the extension icon in the browser I get this. Autofill doesn't work. I'm on the Schwab website.

When I ⌘/ I get the above, when it used to autofill my one saved identity.

Help!

Yes! I've been struggling with the same issue. On top of this, I've noticed that those additional suggestions are coming from my Archive, which makes it extra fun to figure out which is the latest password. I've almost been locked out of my bank for trying the wrong password too many times until I open the main app and manually search for the item and see there's only 1 as expected. This is some sort of issue with universal autofill. I've filed 579561 for it.

Hello @dr_bullfish and @ginkgobiloba! 👋

I'm sorry that you're both running into issues with autofill and for the delay in responding. Can you both update both 1Password in the browser and the 1Password desktop app and then let me know if you're still seeing the same issues:

I look forward to hearing from you.
