Account password stopped working yesterday

I’ve been using the same  account password for years. It suddenly stopped working on my macbook air (Sonoma 14.6.1) and my iphone yesterday. I pulled out my emergency kit printout, and verified I have been entering it correctly. I also verified that the app is up to date. I restarted my macbook, but that didn’t work.

So, does this indicate I’ve been hacked, or is it a glitch with the system?

What is the best course of action now?

I did create a support ticket, but I’m hoping you all have a quicker answer. Thanks!

Sounds like you took the correct steps. Thank you for emailing us. Someone from the team will get back to you ASAP.

I have renamed your topic so it's not confusing to the staff. Master password would refer to the time before memberships. If you have a membership you have an account password. No worries mind you just gives an idea on which folks can help when they look at topics.

I haven't heard from anyone. I still have access to my account on my iPhone because of Face ID. I tried logging in via https://start.1password.com/signin, but I couldn't get in. Just an FYI, I have seen instructions saying "If you forgot your 1Password account password. . . " I KNOW my password. Where's Tech Support?
