Why after giving my dad permission to his vault he can't copy items from his Samsung S24 says you do not have permission even though he just has View access?

Thank you for reaching out! Can you tell me a little more about the issue that your dad is running into? Is he trying to copy a password from an item in 1Password? Or is her trying to duplicate or move the item itself to another vault? 

Is the item in question currently in your dad's Private vault? Or is it in a shared vault? Can you post a screenshot of the error message that your dad is seeing?

    Hey Dave,

    No worries! I've setup a vault under my account and gave him view permission. He's created his own 1Password account and accepted the invite so he can see what I put in there for him. When he tried to copy the username/Email and password it failed and gave him an error you don't have permission. Weirdly enough it works for my partner on iPhone but not my dad on Android?
