App Crashing on Launch

Question

I was on a recent version of 1Password Mac and I noticed a minor update was available so I downloaded/installed it from within the 1Password app. Following this, the app took forever to load and was not responding at all (according to the OS). No window would open, etc. I tried removing the app and redownloading it and now it crashes as soon as it's opened. Any advice on how to remedy?
