Question

App requires authentication twice on open?

Latest versions on everything but I've noticed when I open the actual Android app and it is set to biometrics, that I'll do it once and it works and it just sits blank. I then force close the app, open again, biometrics again, and it works.

It does this pretty much every time I have to open the app for the first time of that day but then even an hour later it is fine.

Hello @nicholasj309! 👋

I'm sorry that 1Password for Android isn't unlocking properly when you use biometrics, it sounds like you may be running into a known issue that our development team is investigating.

When the issue occurs, if you tap the Back button in your system navigation bar along the bottom of your screen or gesture back then are you able to unlock 1Password for Android using biometrics then? Or do you need to still fully close the app in order to get things working?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the information! On my device, the back button takes me back to my app list and if I click the app again then it does work the second time. So fully closing the app isn't required.

Thanks. I've passed the additional information along to the developers.
