App vs website on Android

On Android 13 on Samsung S20, 1PW app fills in logins for airline and opens website on Firefox. I cannot log into the corresponding android app without copying and pasting login information (i.e. no autofill). I've confirmed autofill settings. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello @Stanleyplane. Thank you for writing in, and welcome to the 1Password community forums!

I'm sorry about the trouble you're running into with 1Password's Autofill on Android. May I ask which app you're experiencing this issue on?

Evon, its the United airlines app. When using other apps, sometimes I see the 1PW icon which does allow autofill appearing just above the keyboard, and others not.

@Stanleyplane,

I've tested the United Airlines app on my Android device and have been able to recreate the same behaviour. I've passed these findings over to our development team.

In the meantime, to fill in the United Airlines app, you can try the drag-and-drop method. Here's how:

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
