Apple Watch unlock not working

I am bumping this just so that I subscribe to the outcome of this one. If you need more diagnostics, let me know @1P_Tommy. Same problem: can unlock my M1 Mini with my Apple Watch, use Apple Pay, authenticate in place of passwords (when it's possible to do so), but cannot unlock 1Password.

I have tried rebooting watch, phone, Mac, and unsetting/resetting the Unlock with ... setting in 1Password.
