Question

As I have used the Safari Extension almost exclusively since it was made available, and it is so easy to use, please tell me how Autofill makes the 1Password experience easier as I fail to see it.

What am I missing? The Safari Extension is so easy. Autofill, to me anyway, just adds more steps to logins. With the Extension, you don’t even have to think. It just works 99% of the time.

So , in trying Autofill from my browser, I went to a website with 1Password closed. A window appeared immediately asking me to open 1Password to get the username and pw for that site. So, I opened the window and it logged in to the site. Is that all Autofill is? If so, I can see how it may be useful if you have a lot of logins that don’t work well with the Extension. If you’re like me and the Extension works 99% of the time, I don’t see how Autofill is all that beneficial.

So, please tell me if I am missing the point of Autofill. I want to understand it.

Since we have an existing conversation about macOS AutoFill here, I’ve closed this thread as a duplicate.
