Question

Auto-login without keyboard or mouse actions

Can 1Password be configured to log in to a website automatically when a login screen is presented? I know this can be done with the 1Password extension: “Select the login for that site, then select Open & Fill,” but I want the login to happen without requiring any user actions.

I was able to do this with LastPass:  when navigating to the login page for a site, all of the login actions were done automatically — without keyboard or mouse actions.

Is this possible with 1Password?

Hi @BabyBlueCat, welcome to the Community!

The closest we have to this is that 1Password can automatically submit login forms after you fill them, so once you click your login item under a credential field, it should fill and submit the form with no extra clicks required. You can manage this in the extension settings under Settings > Autofill & save > Sign in automatically after autofill.

The fully hands-free experience you're describing, where a login page is detected and you're signed in automatically with no interaction at all, isn't something we currently support.

If this is something you'd like to see added, I'd be happy to file a feature request on your behalf. Just let me know!

Yes, please file a feature request for me. It would be a helpful addition. Thanks.
