Auto-submit on Aetna website selects "Sign Up" button

On at aetna.com (https://health.aetna.com/login), after I select a login to fill, 1Password seemingly submits the wrong form leading me to be redirected to the sign-up page. This makes it impossible to sign in to the site unless I manually copy and paste the password.

1Password Version: 8.10.36
Extension Version: 2.25.1
OS Version: macOS 14.5
Browser: Firefox

@lucasec

It is a known issue. I'm sorry you encountered it. You could optionally use copy and paste or drag and drop. Once a newer version of 1Password in the browser is available for Firefox users you should be able to turn off autosubmit on a per site basis

You can now manage automatic sign-ins for individual items. While viewing an item in the extension, select the ellipsis button and choose “Don’t sign in automatically”.

For now the options above for copy/paste and drag/drop would be the best or you can opt to turn off auto-submit altogether which should solve the trouble.

  1. Right-click 1Password in the browser toolbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Autofill & save.
  4. Turn off auto-submit - "Sign in automatically after autofill 1Password will automatically submit forms after filling logins."
