Question

auto submit settings are not respected

I hope I'm not barking up the wrong tree, but...

There is a checkbox on the "General" tab in 1Password settings that says "Submit automatically with Universal Autofill." I have that deselected, but I still seem to get an auto submit.

In my Mac Privacy & Security settings, I am not allowing 1Password to control my computer.

How do I prevent the auto submit?

Thanks.

Hi @dougmon

The setting you mentioned is for Universal Autofill, which is separate from the similar setting in the 1Password browser extension. Here's what to do to turn that off if you want:

  1. Right-click 1Password in the browser toolbar and choose Settings.
  2. On the Autofill & save tab, turn off Sign in automatically after autofill.

Hope that helps! :)
