Question

Autofill of one-time password does not work if passkey exists.

When logging into Paypal, I noticed that even though I have a passkey, I suddenly have to enter the one-time (TOTP) password again by hand. Is that how it's supposed to be? Or should you remove it anyway if you log in using a passkey?

Hello @Nitram1972! 👋

I'm sorry that your one-time password for two-factor authentication isn't being filled when you sign in to PayPal.com using a passkey. This is a known issue that our development team is aware of, hopefully it can be fixed in the future.

For the time being, you can click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar, select your login for PayPal, and click Autofill and 1Password will fill your one-time password into PayPal.com. Let me know if that doesn't work. 🙂
