Question

Autofill very inconsistent in Android

I’m having a worse experience in Android than iOS, especially around credit cards. Here is 1 example - why isn’t 1password suggested a credit card?

I have Display Autofill prompts set to “Above supported keyboards”, so in theory this should work even though I’m in some native app flow. The supported keyboard (Gboard) is there.

Also seems to not work on regular websites. Are credit card suggestions supported on mobile browser?

I'm simultaneously sad, disappointed, angry, and flustered using 1Password on Android after being so happy and delighted with it on iOS.

How is 1password for Android this bad?

I'm looking for alternatives. Any suggestions from the community?

Hello @fultonm! 👋

I'm sorry that your experience with 1Password for Android hasn't been the best. I've merged your threads together to keep the conversation in one place. The team and I are here to help until everything is working for you. As a first step, can you make sure that you've setup autofill to work with autofill: Use 1Password to save logins and sign in to apps and websites on your Android device

Then, as a test, please try to fill a credit card item into our test site (you can create a test item with a fake credit card number if you don't wish to fill your actual credit card number): https://autofill.me/form/credit-card-simple

Let me know how that goes. 🙂
