Hello @donmontalvo! 👋

Thank you for the question! There isn't a way to turn off password suggestions without also turning off suggestions of existing login credentials. Once you start typing, you'll see the "Save in 1Password" option appear in the menu if you'd like to enter and save your own created password:

I can pass your request along to our product team. To help provide useful context, could you share a bit more about why you'd like the option to suppress suggested passwords? I'd love to better understand your reasons for wanting the ability to turn this feature off.

Why ask why? :)

It’s annoying and the unnecessary dialog box blocks things.

I never want suggestions.

Long time user, but your coders are lazy….or they need help?

May need to bring in a gunslinger to fix this?

Thanks for continuing to share your feedback! We've heard similar requests from a subset of users who'd like the option to turn off password suggestions. At the moment, though, it isn't something that’s been prioritized yet, since password suggestions are a core part of the experience for most users.

That said, the feature request is still open, and we'll continue to consider it as we evaluate future improvements. We've recently added more granular autofill settings to give users greater control over what they see when using 1Password in the browser, and we'll continue refining the experience and possibly expanding those options further over time.
