I'm having the same issue as OP. In my case, even after I scan my finger 1Password asks me for my password. Have tried everything - resetting Touch ID fingerprints, uninstalling and deleting files + reinstalling, etc

Hello @kirshara987! 👋

I'm sorry that Touch ID isn't working to unlock 1Password on your Mac. It sounds like you might be running into an issue that our developers are investigating. So that I can confirm this, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac:

Sending Diagnostics Reports (Mac)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

With your email please include:

Please send the entire file.

You should receive an automated reply from our BitBot assistant with a Support ID number. Please post that number here. Thanks very much!

@1P_Dave Hi Dave, I ended up emailing support and got some help. It is indeed the same issue you mentioned. I'm now running an older version of 1Password which doesn't have this issue whilst I wait for a fix.
