Being prompted to enter my account password more often than expected on my Chromebook

I just migrated to 1Password and I have the impression that I have to unlock it after auto-lock expires. Every 5 hrs I have to enter my long, complex password just to use the browser extension? Am I missing something?

@PhotoTed

Thank you for the feedback, it helps us to continually improve 1Password and I want to thank you for taking the time to have this conversation with us. I can definitely see that there is room for improvement with both the auto-lock feature and with the consistency of the experience on different platforms. We're made progress with the release of 1Password 8 since that allowed us to release a similar user interface to the app on all platforms but there's still more work to be done. I've shared all of your comments with the team internally.

I really appreciate you giving 1Password a chance and I hope that we see you again in the future. Please stay safe out there.

I'm using a Chromebook with the 1Password extension enabled. I get an "authentication required" pop up every few hours, even while constantly using the device (with no reboots or having the device go to sleep). The browser will also automatically pop to the sign in page. I've followed the remove-reinstall as well as the Settings/Integrate with desktop app instructions with no significant improvement. If I understand the long string of messages above, this is a Chrome OS problem? The pop-up only started in the last couple of weeks and I've been using the Chromebook and 1Password for a year now. Anything else I should understand?
