Thank you for reaching out! Nightly updates feature the latest changes and features but don't go through our Quality Assurance (QA) process. Beta updates are released after those features have gone through QA and are tested further in beta before being released to the stable.

What release channel do you currently have set in the app? You can check by following these steps:

1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
2. Click on 1Password next to the  in the menu bar.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Advanced.
5. Check to see that "Release channel" is set to.

Then click on About and let me know what version you're currently running, this will help me advise further. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am running 810398039 on the nightly channel. I am also subscribed to Beta but wonder if I actually get the Beta version as and when it appears. or if being on th nightly channel means the Beta version never downloads.

@Andrew42 Nightly would generally always get you the latest nightly because it is always newer than the beta unless there was a span of time where there was not an available nightly.
