Beta release channel yet still getting Nightly

A few months ago, I signed up for the nightly update cycle of 1Password, but after a few weeks of restarting the app every single day, I switched to the Beta channel. It has been a few months since I made the switch, and I still only get nightly builds now. Is there a way to force it to change?

I'm sorry that you're stuck on the nightly version of 1Password. It sounds like you might be running into a known issue with our updater logic that occurs after trying the nightly version. Try these steps:

  1. Make sure that you have a copy of your Emergency Kit and that you're signed into 1Password.com in the browser.
  2. Uninstall the 1Password and remove your local data.
  3. Download and install the latest beta release.
