Biometric or hardware key on Linux?
I'm a senior and my typing is terrible due to hand tremors. I have several PC's, an iPad, and an iPhone. Authentication is fast and easy on the iPad and iPhone using face recognition, but I haven't found a compatible biometric or physical key which works with my Kubuntu 24.04 PC, which uses the Plasma (not Gnome) desktop. The problem is amplified because although I try to increase the time to require for reprompt/password(s) entry, 1password seems to set the time to require reprompt for password to some short default, which means I need to enter a (necessarily) long and complex text password, and I'm bedeviled by typing errors doing so.
I'm using the Chrome browser 1password extension on the Kubuntu box, which is my primary "daily driver". I'd appreciate information as to potential solutions for thise problem.
