Question

Birthday field does not allow editing or choosing year from a list

In the beta version, I tried to create an identity for myself. The birthday field doesn't let me to write the date and there is not an option to see the list of years. To go back to 1980s, it can be done only by clicking every month!! I switched back to old user interface and it showed the list of years and editing options.

Hello @mhyildiz! 👋

I'm sorry for the delayed reply. Can you try the latest beta version of 1Password for Windows, 8.10.46-1 at the time of writing, to see if that improves things? There's a new date picker in the latest versions:

If you still have trouble with this version then let me know. 🙂

Thank you for the response! I was able to edit it manually by typing in the mm-dd-yyyy fields, but the date picker still only moves month to month.

@mhyildiz

Adding the year manually would be the workflow here. This is similar to the date picker in other apps, is there an app that you're using where the date picker allows you to select the year rather than typing in the year manually? I can pass that along to our team. 🙂

I have seen in some apps, but the easiest I remember is the date field in Windows taskbar. When you click on the header, it shows month, year, decade etc. Attached a few screenshots for reference. Thanks!
