Blue Screen for OTP Prompt in Browser

When using the quickfill feature with FireFox for iOS v144.1, filling in the username and password works fine. When I am prompted for a OTP and click on "1Password" in the password selection menu, the screen turns blue for 2-3 seconds, after which I can touch the screen to review the browser page w/OTP prompt again.

Screenshot of the issue. The entire Firefox browser window is replaced by the blue square.

Environment:

  • Firefox for iOS v144.1
  • iOS v18.7
  • 1Password for iOS v8.11.14

I can open the 1Password app to copy and paste the OTP from there, but it would be nice to use quickfill again.

I can't reproduce this issue any longer, so I think one of the many updates that I've done, including installing macOS 26.2,  fixed the issue.

Hello @komrad! 👋

I'm sorry that you're seeing a blue screen when filling your one-time password in Firefox. I've just tried to reproduce the issue but I'm not seeing it on my end. Can you update to the latest versions of iOS, Firefox, and 1Password and then try to reproduce it again?

If you do still see the issue then can you share which website you're seeing it on?
