Is anyone else having the strange issue where when using Brave on Windows 11 and the 1password plugin? If 1password is locked, unlocking creates a popup saying Authentication Required, and a new browser tab opens prompting for email, secret key and password. These can all be ignored and I am signed in by just entering the password in the normal unlock popup screen. This only started a few days back.

I fixed it.

  • Disabled browser connections in 1Password.
  • Removed plugin from Brave
  • Rebooted
  • Enabled connections in 1password
  • Reinstalled plugin
  • Sorted
