Question

Broken site suggest autogenerating new password instead of autofilling

I have one site that does not work with 1password( https://eneco.be/ , my electricity & gas supplier). Whenever I try to login, my email is correctly filled in, but when I get to the password field. I always suggest autogenerating a new password like I am trying to register instead of loggin in. So I have to open 1Password manually and copy the password. I've tried right clicking the 1password icon in my browser & saving it, but that just tries to update my current login, which is not needed. The password itself is safe & not compromised.

Hello, @JonasV. Thank you for reaching out.

I've tested the website and have been able to recreate the same behaviour. I created an issue for our development team for further investigation. I apologize for the inconvenience.

In the meantime, I recommend using the https://support.1password.com/getting-started-browser/#use-drag-and-drop-to-fill-in-apps feature from the 1Password extension pop-over.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
